In his international organisational activities, Andile served on the Board and High-level Panel (serving as the business sector chair) responsible for the outcomes of the Netmundial multi-stakeholder conference on Internet governance, hosted by the Brazilian government in April 2014. He also serves on the council of The National Advisory Council on Innovation (NACI). In his previous work at Cisco, he made significant contributions and received many awards towards product development in Metro Ethernet, Enterprise Routing, Switching, and Security areas. He designed Multi-Dimensional Performance and Scale methodologies, and large-scale topologies, validated designs, and won many deals by engaging with customers.
Naresh is very passionate about open source and the power it has to enable enterprises and service providers. He represented ONF in many international forums, co-authored SDN Migration & OpenFlow test specifications, and was invited as SME for developing MEF SDN/NFV professional certification and ONF OCSA certification.
